PROJECT OBJECTIVE

The General objective of the Project is to create, through the cross-border cooperation of Romania and Serbia and cooperation of business organizations, companies and entrepreneurs from the area covered by Resica Chamber – Karas Severin (Romania) and Požarevac Chamber (Serbia), the conditions for adopting and implementing the EU procedures and tools needed to strengthen competitiveness of the economy in the border regions, and their participation in the market of European Union.

GLOBAL OBJECTIVE

The 2006 neighborhood program’s global objective is:
- To achieve balanced socio-economic development of the border area between Romania and Serbia by way of establishing the cross-border cooperation principle by increasing the overall regional economy’s competitiveness.
